Brush Lettering

Spread the love

Modern Brush Lettering is becoming increasing popular. It has an even more relaxed style than Modern Calligraphy so is quicker to pick up and you are encouraged to develop your own style once you have the basics covered.

You will have an opportunity to practice shapes and lettering to learn

– how shapes are created and practice swirls and lines

– practice lower case letters to build up your confidence on using the lines and swirls

– practice upper case letters to compliment your learning of lower case

– start to write using both lower and upper case letters

You will also be informed of the how you can continue to develop your brush lettering, through using water based inks and watercolour paints which can be mixed.

You will get lots of support as workshops are relaxed and friendly, perfect for learning. The emphasis is on having fun and encouraging you to learn a new skill and gain confidence to practice your new found modern calligraphy skills.

It is a lovely way to make new friends in a relaxed, friendly and social environment. Whether you come on your own or with a friend, you will be greeted with lots of smiles and be ready to have a great time.

By the end you will be writing using brush lettering and have the confidence to develop your own fabulous style.
