How fabulous is it to spend your time creating the most wonderful things? Quick answer – brilliant!!
I love to learn and over the last four years I have learnt to create the most extraordinary from everyday things and consciously chose crafts that were a bit different. It all started with making natural skincare products and candles, then wanting them to standout. So I learnt paper craft to make bows and flowers as accessories and gift wrapping so I could make handmade boxes, gift tags and gorgeous wrapping of those boxes. Then modern calligraphy so I could confidently write beautiful handmade labels. Most recently I have added Copperplate Calligraphy to my toolkit, which is very fancy writing.
So Little Artisan Studio began to emerge as a handmade gift and fabulous gift wrapping venture.
In essence, making things look fabulous, whether hand made by my good self or any gift you have and want to ensure it stands out. With me as the founder and owner (sounds grand I appreciate, until you realise Little Artisan is just me!).
I want my business to stand out in the crowd and I wanted an offer that was different to others. This extends throughout everything I do, from the subjects I offer to the experience of attending one of my workshops to being transparent on costs.
I am passionate about sharing my skills. So the next step of sharing with others was a natural one (thank you to all my gorgeous friends for letting me practice teaching them). As an attendee you have the comfort of knowing that all content has been practised many times to ensure it is fun and as much a social event as a chance to learn something new.
Alongside workshops, I am keen to work with organisations who help people with learning difficulties as I know how important this is.
My workshops are relaxed and friendly, perfect for learning. The emphasis is on having fun and encouraging you to make something really special you can take away and be proud of. And of course to astound your friends.
I want workshops to be as much about socialising and making new friends as they are about learning something rather fabulous. So whether you are feeling a bit on your own or just fancy learning something new, come and join in.
The workshop topics will always be different from traditional crafts so if you are looking for every day stuff, there are lots of other fantastic teachers out there. If you are looking for something different and rather fabulous, you are in the right place.
Fun, Creative, Friendly.
It is so simple, no previous experience is required (beginners are my speciality) and you can create something extraordinary from ordinary everyday things.
If workshops are not for you, how about bespoke private workshops for birthdays. hen parties or any celebratory event really or just an excuse to get together. Or I can offer one to one tuition and demonstrations.
I can offer each item as a bespoke service and hand make something fabulous especially for you – whether you want it as a gift for someone else or just spoiling yourself!!
